Sara was raised on Peaks Island, Maine and currently works full-time as a freelance artist in South Portland, ME. She has recently left a 12 year career as a farmer where she worked with vegetables, sheep, chickens, dairy, maple syrup, oysters, flowers, trees and lots of humans. Agriculture has woven its way into Sara's bones and informs everything she makes. Sara is all about hand drawn animation, illustration and painting. She's honing her skills in digital design, printmaking, portraiture, motion graphics, and oil painting. In her time outside the studio she's most likely island hopping with her partner and toddler in Casco bay, tending to their gardens, riding motorcycles, or walking in the woods with the doggoes.
